CHECKERS (PT)- Scottsbluff Main Street Market

Main Street Market in Scottsbluff is seeking a reliable and customer-oriented part-time Checker to join our Legacy Coop team in Scottsbluff, NE.  As a Checker, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating the cash register, managing transactions, and promoting food sales. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently
- Process cash, credit, and debit transactions
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Promote and upsell food items to customers
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Follow all cash management procedures and policies
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient store operations
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines

Requirements:
- Previous experience in customer service, cashier, or cash management roles preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math and computer skills
- Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
